for me the alias has a more organic shaped handle. The sebenza is super, though. since you have both, try the lanyard pin from the sebe on the alias. i've wondered if it would work on the alias. i agree the alias appears more tactical, but the flat grind is better for edc than the hollow grin...

Good review. I purchased one a few months ago, re-profiled the blade and handle shape, replaced the handle slabswith micarta. I did grind most of the false edge away. Now the ergos are great, and it was a fun project. Hard to compare to the idun though...
