Michael Damian has enjoyed a multifaceted career both in front and behind the camera. Most widely known for his eighteen year run as Danny Romalotti on the #1-rated daytime drama, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS he has also enjoyed a re-curring role on THE FACTS OF LIFE, co starred in the Gary Marshall directed YOUNG DOCTORS IN LOVE and starred in the TV movie COLD HEART OF A KILLER, TF1 action series RED EYE and feature films BACKLASH with Jim Belushi, DEATHS HANDWRITING with Harika Avci and the art house film HOUSE OF FOREVER with James Best.

Damian went on to land the starring role of Joseph in the Broadway production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, which broke box office records in Los Angeles and on Broadway and earned him a Grammy nomination. In addition, to his Broadway career, Damian has released five albums and has had nine Top 40 hits including the #1 single ROCK ON, which garnered him Gold Records worldwide. He won the BMI Song Writing Award for his hit single WAS IT NOTHING AT ALL. Damians highly anticipated new single ROCK ON ver.09 debuted to a flurry of enthusiasm from radio programmers. The full album MICHAEL DAMIAN - ROCK ON will be released March 09.

Utilizing his years of experience as a performer, Damian made the natural progression to directing. He is the co-founder of production company Rivera Films and has served as director, writer and producer of feature film MOONDANCE ALEXANDER, starring Don Johnson, Kay Panabaker, Lori Loughlin and James Best which won Best Picture at Vienna International and Newport Beach Film Festivals, Best Screenplay at L.A. Femme Film Festival and was awarded five Dove seals from the Dove Foundation. Damian wrote and directed the crime/comedy HOT TAMALE, which was awarded Best Picture at the Boston International Film Festival. Most recently Damian has been tapped to direct FLICKA 2 for 20th Century Fox, which will be shooting in Vancouver the spring of 2009.
