Take a journey through life, live in some of America's greatest cities, and find music in every step you take.

It seems like only yesterday Michael Chenkus was an Atlantic Records intern in NYC, perfecting the art of Manhattan coffee runs. This experience within the music industry (oddly, Manhattan Starbucks are on just about every block!), an expensive college degree in yes "music", and his desire to make a unique musical statement have all come to this, "American Dream", his complete full length solo album.

Listen through the album once and you'll be hooked. It's not a question of which song you'll be singing all day, but HOW MANY you'll have stuck in your head. The tunes show a mature side of a talented musician, yet stay focused on life in such a way that anyone can closely relate. Factor in that the entire project was self-produced, and you realize Michael's talents as a writer, performer (don't miss the VIDEO link), and musician.

What kind of music is it? Ask a random listener and they'll hear elements of country as the pedal steel guitar rips with emotion. In the same song the focus turns to the power chords and it's straight-up pop/rock. And then there are elements of soul (Yes- Michael Jackson influenced us all) heard in every tune.

The combination is undeniable. Michael's live performance is exciting, personal, and inspired. He isn't the 'same-old same-old'... This is the music that people have been waiting to hear- so what are you waiting for?
