About Mike Cervantes
Mike Cervantes is a News Photographer with over two years of broadcast experience currently working in the Las Vegas market. He specializes in convergence media with experience in everything including broadcast field production, videography/photography, nonlinear editing, full studio news show production and writing, technical directing and directing, and has experience with basic HTML and web design. A 2008 Broadcast Journalism graduate of California State University, Fullerton's respected College of Communications, he is currently employed at KSNV News3 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
His prior work experience includes positions as a photographer and editor at KPSP-TV in Palm Springs; photographer and editor, studio camera operator, assignment desk assistant and prompter operator at KMIR6 in Palm Springs; tape operator, teleprompter and field photographer for KCET's "OC Insight;" production assistant for KOCE's "Real Orange," as well as producer and reporter for CSUF's "OC News."
