@kenfo0 Any boat can "handle it" but you are putting alot of torque and stress on the drive and the gears trying to hammer it up on plane. If you want things to last you should ease it on plane and then open up the throttles.

Cruising Lake Washington

Not sure if you are aware but you should NEVER run your motor or rev your engine with the drive up like that..ALWAYS drop it down as low as you can...It puts ALOT of stress on the u joints and trust me they will fail!
