God created man in His image and gave man freedom of choice. The Lord gave us a choice to obey Him and love Him. Or disobey God and go it alone, loving sin and ultimately being separated from our Creator.
The Word of God says... "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
