All photographers have an essence, it is derived from its people, its products, its culture, its vision. We call this essence soul. We now invite you to experience the soul of MH Inc. Photography.
Born and raised in the Niagara Region of Ontario Canada. Since his early years, Kevin was fascinated with old buildings, abandonments, tunnels etc... Basically from the time he could walk, he was out with family members exploring such places as Old Fort Erie, Erie Beach Amusement Park and anything else he could get into.
In March of 2005 Kevin started the Niagara Amateur Ghost Seekers -- NAGS, a paranormal website with 4 other members. In the year that NAGS was around, Kevin and the team had many incredible opportunities to explore several locations that were said to be haunted, such as the Keefer Mansion in Thorold, Ontario and Century Manor in Hamilton that were not open to the public. Kevin didn't see these places as haunted, but more of a historical gold mine. As the site grew in popularity, the friendships between members were bordering on disaster. It was decided by the team that friendships were more important, and NAGS was shut down exactly 1 year to the day of it's birth.
BUT...NAGS still lives on, thanks to "The Shadows Project" a group of paranormal investigators made up of former NAGS members and friends of NAGS. You can check out our ever growing archives at http://www.theshadowsproject.com/archives.htm
During his time with NAGS, Kevin found himself doing the majority of the photography, with various point and shoot digital cameras. He felt that he could never get the effect desired and it was more less a waste to have the opportunity to visit such gorgeous historic locations and not be able to showcase them on camera as such.
Kevin experienced a renewed enthusiasm and appreciation for photography after coming across a fantastic website called "Invisible Threads -- Daily Photography" by photographer Kendal Anderson.
Kendal inspired Kevin with his work and he began mixing his love of Urban Exploration and Photography.
Kevin purchased his first Digital SLR in February of 2006 and started his Photography site; MH Inc Canada.
It seems that Kevin possessed a good eye for dynamic composition and lighting right from the beginning. Since the site was established, Kevin has had the chance to visit, explore and photograph many locations rich with history and old age craftsmanship.
Kevin enjoys amateur and free lance photography. Hoping to some day achieve the title of professional. He specializes in Urban Decay, often using the tools of modern photography -- different filters, and digital enhancement, which led to his interest in night, infrared, and HDR photography as well, always trying to do something different.
Please enjoy the site, and contact Kevin with any questions, comments or concerns at the email listed above.
