I just picked up my transformer 2 days ago and I'm loving it. The ipad is nice, but not worth the extra money. The transformer will blow the ipad out of the water when more apps are available. That is the only thing the ipad has over the transformer.

@FMX900 I am not sure. i wrote that comment about a year ago so I don't know if Verizon's policies have changed. I would either go in or talk to customer service on the phone and tell them you want to activate it without the data plan. That's how I used it when I had that phone.
