@ThePumpkinthecat it is assisted, not automatic. if you open it with manipulation of the blade it is legal. just dont sharpen the upper swedge or conceal it (ya we cant conceal knives or you automatically get dangerous intent, but people dont give a shit unless you wave it around).

@noBLUNTobjctsPleas it is a glue like substance that you apply to the threads on a screw. then you insert said screw into a bolt/nut/whatever and it bonds them. the "thread sealant" can then be loosened by direct heating or brute force. it is useful for preventing pivots from loosening.

@aznpos531 a torx or hex/double box screw gives the driver more contact points so you can apply more force effectively. do you need 100+ pounds of torque on a knife pivot? i sure as hell don't.

thats called a robertson drive bit. its a canadian invention that allows you to use it with one hand. it also provides a more strip proof surface. they are fairly common here in canada, and im pretty sure they use them in decks in the states.

i carry a bunch of stuff, but a SAK is good because it is person friendly. i can use my SAK in public, but not my SOG Aegis tanto, for obvious reasons. SAKs dont look "scary", so they are good to pare with a more "scary" knife.
