wow!! Hoping this band comes to the U.S.!

Hopefully when JLP hits the USA with "The Atlantic Years Band" they'll do some peices from this CD ....hopefully !! :-)

@free2bpoppie And hopefully, next spring, when the "Atlantic Years Band" tours in the USA, we can get a chance to maybe see this piece played again!! :-)

back in the day in Detroit, ...Loretta Hines on WJZZ used to play this track as her favorite .......still love it.....great CD from my favorite time frame of JLP

and ...just so you know...the montenenos are only served on the weekends :(

@mpesta my band used to cover this, and I loved playing this ....this video helped me figure out exactly what his dexterity was on some parts!! :-)

@diamond123100 ...very true ...if you notice, starting with the Vapor Trails tour (first DW kit) ....each tour the kit sounds better and better ......w/ S&A and Time Machine sounding best! He's really dailing in his sound with John at DW!

@rollinsrules765 - Mark Craney...he did a LOT of great work in his day!! From Jethro Tull, to Jean-Luc Ponty, to this wonderful masterpiece (especially love 4:58 through 5:27, and at 5:16 when he kicks in the double-kick run, wow!) He is, and always wil be sadly missed!

it's called 'open handed' ...and all these guys mentioned are right handed players. But they play open handed, meaning, they lead with the left on a right handed kit.

Jamie, Rayford ...whatever you do, ...get THIS SPECIFIC band together w/ JLP and record again.......I've been a LONG time JLP fan, and this band was my favorite by far! Rayford, a TRUE inspiration, ...YOU got me playing open handed (not Cobham or Phillips :) ).

Commented on the Jungle Boogie vid, but, ...band I was in back in the late 80s early 90s covered this tune too.......we actually opened with this one!!! What fun that was!

Thanks for the upload! I was in a band out of AnnArbor/Ypsi MI back in the late 80s and early 90s and we used to cover this version of Jungle Boogie ......WAY TOO MUCH FUN!!!

This song is the perfect example of how wonderful percussion can be used to make a good song, great!!! From 3:31 on is just magic!!
