I use the same leica for 27 years, in the same time friends have spent thousand and thousand of euro for changing their nikon, zoom, motors, gadgets and i can still sell it the price i have paid in late 80's. The fact is you think twice before buying...

Usefull ! You are not only a poet doubled with a magician, so . . My 120 backs begin a new life with alpa, due to curious reglementation, it became harder and harder to mount a tripod on public places down there, so th Technika slowly takes its retirement, so sad. Thanks for sharing

But in 1991 when this 35 lux launched, the techniques were improved and no longer required hand polishing. The prices these times came from an analogy to the myth of the 1.2...

If you accept the weigjt and the price tag, the noctilux is a great lens anyway. The presentator looks like a caricature of 'what is a leicast' with lipstick ;)

Great great camera, force you to learn photography, easy for free hand and gives you the feel and the need for a 4"5" or a Technika in the future. Inexpensive nowadays and indestructible !

I use one with 65 and 135 for 20 years, you just need a paramender to enjoy macrophoto at any time, a great 'real' camera, easy to repair and rugged in travel. Enjoy yours and thanks for sharing

@yalsum. Edges have to take rest, microscopic teeth can develop for 24h, you need at minimu 2 razors. The 'semainier' (7day set razor) become an evidence when you stop collecting razors : you find the blade , shape and size, who suits you the best ad then you own a semainier. Seems to be thiers ...
