I lived as a child in Paris, however, I went to International School. But, during school vacations and summer, I went to a Poney Club stage (French for camp) and they served lunches just like this there. I ate, spoke, and became French by culture! I loved it!!!

Does anyone notice at 2:13 that it says "Palace of Justice"? In French, "Palais de Justice" means "Court House." So Marc Brown definitely likes France and French!

I lived in Paris myself during childhood! (Neuilly-sur-Seine); where is this? I actually disagree with @mikadodeFrance the French (and Europeans) preserve water and Americans use way too much water in their toilets; it drives me crazy! I just miss the way Parisian toilets flush!!

I'm an avid horseback rider too with a love for horses; I usually start grooming my horse with picking out its feet. However, one horse that I was really in love with hated it and it was a big struggle to get her to pick up her feet. I hope you have a love for horses just as much as I do!

Did you happen to see what direction this plane was taking off in? I thought since you were facing the sun, you'd be going west, but planes take off in different directions and circle around. I'm always interested in what direction I fly in! I see you're an avid flyer on Air France too!

I've grown up in both Washington, DC and Paris and I used to fly this all the time! At 0:16, I found it sad when it said "Distance Since Departure: 3853 miles." I used to think to myself whenever I saw that "Am I really that far from Charles de Gaulle? It seems as though we haven't even moved!"

@kiwibrittie I now live in Washington, DC and ride the metro all the time. The metro here says "Doors opening" and "Doors closing" and I think that's good for blind people, especially. Just a signal would confuse people, so that's why I think it should have recordings.

She's a beautiful cat!!! I have a French cat who looks just like Jolie!!! It is really sad to see a pet getting euthanized. I'm sorry for Jolie's family that they had to go through this and watch it, but I know that Jolie was old and she needed to go.

@italioguy, I grew up in Paris, France and now I live in Washington, DC and I totally agree to leave France for the USA! So much is better over there. True, the government in France is more centralized than in the USA and that's better for a lot of things! But, I just miss Paris a lot and was sad...

I sang this for the first time for my Christmas Concert in fourth grade. Every time I heard it, I cried. I don't know why. It just sounds like a sad song to me, especially starting at about 0:17.
