Metaphrog have been creating comics since 1996, gradually building a loyal following and receiving critical acclaim worldwide. Their Louis graphic novels have received several Eisner and Ignatz Award nomination. They enjoy spreading the word about comics by doing talks and workshops in schools, libraries, and at festivals around the world, and their work has also been featured in various exhibitions.In 2009, they were specially commissioned to make a comic adaptation of Edwin Morgan's poem, The First Men on Mercury for release in on National Poetry Day.
