this is like back in the day when people compared Fable 1 to Elder Scrolls 3. Fable 1 is a"good" game but, not even an RPG really. Just a linear hack and slash with very little choice when compared to TES3. Of course Fallout3 blows away Fable 2. Same shit, different time.

This game is a gem. The point to remember is, yes, it has an abstract sense. A sense of mystery. A soul that Oblivion is missing. I guess comparing it to modern games hurts it, too bad. At the time it was mind blowing.
