About Me:
January 2011 - excited to get the role as 'Baby John' for GreasePaint production of 'West Side Story' to start May, performed in the Midlands.
July 2010 - Buxton Opera House - played Bunthorne, in Gilbert and Sullivans' 'Patience'. Good fun and experience - though had to learn the role in one week.
April 2010: Small talking role in feature length movie, called "Vacation Hunter"
I'm George Mercer, these videos show some of the things I've done since my first role as the "Pirate King", at the age of 13
Since then I've played "Enjolras", the revolutionary leader in a youth theatre production of Les Miserables. '0'leary' in a GasLeak production of "The Ragged Child", and I've been the The Wolf and the Prince, in Stephen Sondhiem's "Into The Woods".
With the help of my singing teacher, Isla Keys, my voice has continued to develop and I'm now trying pieces like Nella Fantasia - hope you enjoy.
