Self-taught Producer, Talented Lyricist and Performer MARIO MENTAL has been going from strength to strength on the Cypriot Hip-hop scene for the last 15 years. In 2004 he started to build his own home studio where he spends most of his time perfecting his beats. He started his rapping career in 1995 mainly rapping in English, working with Unkle Festa from the M.U.D Fam (Mad Underdog Family) in England.
In a bid to break into the Cyprus/Greece market, he started to write Greek raps - releasing his debut greek single Mana on Mothers Day, 2009. This led to many future collaborations with Greek rappers . Due to his hard work and perseverance, the Cypriot Media has finally taken notice and he was interviewed on Cyprus main summer music show Alive on Sigma channel as well as an interview on Play TV. His various music videos (Aftos O Dromos, Mesa Sto Magazi) are being broadcast on Cyprus major dedicated to music channels (Energy, Music Box)
Joining forces with John Wu and Lyrical Eye he set up 357, a movement established to inspire other up and coming Cypriot artists/talents to get their music heard and to elevate a homegrown music scene. His influences are Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, N.W.A, Public Enemy, 2Pac to name a few.

Performances at 50+ nightclubs in Cyprus ranging from Teez, Bling, Basement, Sensations, Champs Elysse, Sabia, Spartacus, Exis, Deep, Bikini Bar, Nissi Beach, Ammos Beach Bar, Barrio Del Mar. Lush and Bling to name a few.
