The Memphis Farmers Market is a weekly non-profit outdoor market featuring local farmers and artisans. The market showcases locally sourced produce and food items and locally produced arts and crafts from the Mid-South region and also serves to educate the community about eating local, nutrition and food choices. Enjoy live music and weekly themed events and programs.Visit us every Saturday 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. mid-April thru October. Located in Downtown Memphis. Free admission and parking. Pet sitting available. The market is a non-profit organization supported by an all volunteer Board of Directors and funded by fund-raising initiatives, grants, memberships, sponsorships and vendor fees. The volunteer, nonprofit market works on a small budget that must support a large array of operating expenses that include insurance, permits, licenses, signage, utilities, site improvements, marketing, promotions, and a market manager.
