Wow! I never heard this one by Tammi Terrell. She could sing anything. I wish we could have heard her in an interview, or watched her sing live other than on The Tonight Show. Maybe more footage will turn up soon.

It was in the movie. Remember the scene when Melvin was in the studio alone practicing and trying out his dance moves very slowly after his accident. Although, Ruffin sang the song, it was in the scene with Melvin. The song was perfect for the scene, IMO
