Dear friends in Christ,
It is a great honour to have you as visitors at Melthodhaye. Melthodhaye is not merely a homepage but also an organization. Melthodhaye was established in January of 2008 and serves under the auspices and blessings of His Holiness Mor Ignatius Zakka I Iwas, Patriarch of Antioch and all the East, Supreme Head of the Universal Syrian Orthodox Church and under the Holy Synod. We are very thankful to our Lord Jesus Christ to have reached this far as an organization and more importantly that Melthodhaye now has become a Patriarchal Youth Organization.

Melthodhaye means the life giving wordin Syriac, namely, that the Word became flesh and was sacrificed for the sake of our salvation. The only begotten Word, Jesus Christ, gave us a new life through His death on the Cross and through His bodily resurrection from the dead.
