If you really want a huge reverb with long sustain and classy tone, You can get a gibbs reverb tank from the sixties for about 30 bucks on ebay. Then look out for the General Guitar Gadgets preamp layout. You can get a much better thing for less than 80 $.

@catblanket14uk There weren't any flanger effects for guitar back then. The phasing effect was obtained by synchronising two tapes on which the same thing is recorded. I think they did it with the master tape, every sound is affected.
