Day.Vee is... Okay I am not going to start out with me talking in the 3rd person! I am from the east coast of Canada, in the Maritimes..... I use to play drums years ago and have been song writing off and on since the beginning of 2010. Now I am more involved with making, or if you like to call it producing beats for a passion now a days. It is more of a hobby at the moment than an actual "job" in these stages of my life. I only have been developing beats since the beginning of 2011 so it is still a learning process as I go along and will always be. You only grow and can never have enough knowledge or technique towards music in general. I am still learning from everyone's feedback, it is welcome!

Music has been in my life since I could remember from childhood. I remember the old man playing his Johnny Cash and Alan Jackson continuously when I was a young infant. It was in elementary school when I remember the first "albums" that hooked me immediately into Hip Hop and Rap. It was a Mix Tape I made on a cassette back then of Eminem, mostly all from Slim Shady LP and Marshall Mathers LP. I looked passed the actual words and focused on the word play and punch liners, how they sync in and out of the music (beat) I guess you would call it. However a lot of the public at the time just couldn't get pass his racist, devilish, and homophobic remarks, his words in the songs.

Regarding my music: I would, if I had to really pick a genre to be placed in, it would be underground most likely. This reason is because I am influenced by so many styles such as, of course rap and hip hop, soul, indie, rock, punk, electro, alternative, techno, dance, house, old country, r&b, and so on.... I have been getting into a lot of Aussie Hip Hop lately, and it has inspired me in other ways with music (beats) especially The Hard Road Restrung!
