@rcschumann The late great Tommy Smith also trained a horse called Tulloch in the late 1950's. Some would say Tulloch was slightly better than Kingston Town but the King is the best i have seen. Phar Lap was a freak. Horses just don't do what he did. Mate, don't worry about the insults...us A...

As far as So You Think is concerned. The trainer over there has trained the sprint out of him and the stupid jockeys don't know how to ride him.....pretty simple. If SYT came back to his original trainer of Bart Cummings, he would again be the best 10f horse in the world.

Monkey? LOL I haven't seen a horse from the USA win in Hong Kong, Singapore or Australia. Black Caviar would beat ANY sprinter in the USA by a furlong! Her world rankings have her as the best sprinter on the planet. She is going to England this year.
Mickey Mouse league hahaha yeah that's why our Aussie horses like Alinghi have gone to the usa and won. No American horse has ever come to Australia to compete because you know you can't beat us. You never have you dumb ass pilgrim!

All your horses over in the USA are drugged to the eyeballs! No regulation over there so it's the horse with the most jabs in it wins, that's why you never race them outside the US...because you can't drug them in other countries!
Phar Lap will always be the best horse in racing history!

We have the best sprinter on the planet with Black Caviar. She is unbeaten after 18 starts. She isn't asked to win by 31 lengths or break records. Her jockey eases her down to a jog near the line so as not to knock her around. If you Yankees owned her you would be pushing her out to win by huge margins and fast times every start. Never see any American horse leave the USA to compete on the world stage...wonder why?

I watched the movie last night and only 5 horses contested both the Preakness and the Belmont. We all pissed ourselves laughing at the small field thinking....so you only have to be better than those other 4 runners to be a champion???? What a joke! And don't come back with times and margins cos they don't mean a thing.
-
1 week agomelbsteve posted:
I saw the movie you moron! You Yankee fools put to much emphasis on times...that's why you kill all your horses over there. Us Aussies don't care about times....just winning! How many of your American champions have had more than 50 starts? Phar Lap was injured when he won in Mexico and wasn't out to run fast time as that's not how we race.
Phar Lap would have slaughtered Secretariat!! Now that i have seen the movie....he wasn't that good!

@trosselit I think you should do some research before you start posting rubbish. Man o' War raced 21 times for 20 wins while Secretariat also raced 21 times for 16 wins, 3 seconds and 1 third.
While both these horses are champions the best horse ever is Phar Lap who raced 51 times for 37 wins, ...

@alicemrox Sunline yes as she was owned and raced by kiwis. Sunline just won most of her prizemoney in Australia. Phar Lap was born in NZ but was owned and raced in Australia. Mel Gibson and Olivia Newton-John were both born overseas but they call themselves Aussies! Phar Lap became a nationa...
