Hey, I'd like to welcome you to my youtube page. It's a special place for me to get my voice, and my songs out into the world. It's also a place where YOU can all get to know me :) I also have a Twitter (melanieungar22) where you can follow me, and we can talk too!

I'm 18. My birthday is February 2nd. I love the colour purple. I love sleeping- I wasn't much of a morning person, but I'm getting used to it. I fantasize about singing on stage in a huge stadium. I used to interview myself as a 'famous singer' until I was 12. I've graduated high school and heading to university. I am right handed, but I can write with my left hand- slightly. I wanted to be a singing doctor when I was 8. I used to print out applications to Harvard- I was 9 (yup, they were filled out too). I want to live in LA. I can never have my nails natural, so every Wednesday, I must re-paint them. I like dark nail polish (but only in the winter months). I secretly have a schedule, and planner of everything I must do in my life. I get "nervous" from public speaking, but can sing for thousands. I'm outgoing. I don't wear a lot of makeup. I have trouble making up my mind. I'm not like everyone else. Sometimes, I'm too honest. I sing in the shower- really loud. I'm not scared of being myself. I love learning new things. I think a lot- about life usually. I respect myself. I love special moments, I replay them in my head all the time. I need things to mean something. I don't regret things. I believe that everything happens for a reason and things always turn out for the best. I live for moment. I get stuck in my memories of the past too often. I began writing songs to tell a person how much I loved them, or at least thought I did. I've been broken hearted, and broken hearts too. I love being in love. I enjoy staying up late on skype or the phone. 4 am tends to be my favourite time. I fall hard. I make sure to not take things for granted. There's this boy and he means the world to me. Music has gotten me through everything. I'm just a girl with a passion and big dreams. I'm enjoying the ride.

I've been playing guitar for almost two years now, and it quickly became my life. I currently have been writing lots of songs alongside my guitar, about- well, pretty much anything that comes my way. From heartbreaks, to friendships, to missing someone, or anything to do with love, or happiness, my inspiration comes out in my songs. My songs are really personal and they're easy to relate to.

I really hope you enjoy my songs, I've been updating my channel a lot more recently. Also, the older my videos are, the less experience I have in guitar, etc. Please keep that in mind.
