one of my fav 80's records because its great start to finish and you can just let it play over and over.

this video makes me want to strangle it. its really awful at first with all those stupid literal shots to match the lyrics and at lame the sparkler finale, yet its redeemed by stipe's "hey bay bay" elvis charm moves and even more so by everyone in the roadhouse singing.

freedo333 - yeah james brown notoriously stole joe tex's mike moves...and his wife too!

this gem lost a lot of its pathos after the wall fell and germany was reunited. still its a wonderful time capsule of an era. everything about it from the acting to the cinematography is stellar.

i was there and saw this - they r cute n it was a lot of fun!
