A story of betrayal, By Mechanicalbull
Long, long ago far, far away there was a beautiful and peaceful chimpanzee community. They loved hanging out in the trees foraging for food, grooming each other and enjoyed the worm rays of the morning sunshine.
Then one day a pack jackal came into the community to hunt, one of the chimps seeing this sounded the alarm by carrying on, shaking the trees, making lots of noise warning the other chimps. This is normal behavior by monkeys that function correctly , however there are these gorillas you know, that told the chimps jackals are cool, and also said they are furry, soft and lovable, gorilla children have even been seen playing with jackals. The gorillas have been telling this lie for years.
So the other chimps are like looking at this chimp carrying on like he's nuts, all the while the jackals feed. This causes that chimp to really scream now, tossing shit, sticks and rotten fruit at the jackals.
The other chimps seeing this get fed up and angry at his carrying on like an insane banshee so the community bands together and tosses his rear end to the gorillas to never be seen again.
As an observer I am thinking whats wrong with these chimps their being eaten and letting it happen, then I notice one of the jackals dragging fresh carrion to the gorillas and one of gorillas pats the jackal on the back and then to the narrators disgust, the gorillas begin to feed.
THE Moral of the story: You my friends are sheep being fed upon by wolves and are to conditioned to not even care. You look upon people sounding the warning bell as nuts; in fact the bell ringers are doing what is instinctive to all primates, they sound the warning bell at the first sign of danger. When you categorize yourself to the left/right paradigm you fall into the gorillas trap. You my fellow chimpanzees are mentally broken, not only that, but spring loaded to the brainless position!
