incase you don't know music is usually inspired by an emotion or a feeling. not all music has to be about happiness or love. anger and other things expressed in metal are emotions too and when a band like slipknot or korn sings about drugs or something it's usually about how it ruined their lives and they never want to be involved with it again. and not all metal is scremo. a bands like alter bridge, metallica, dragonforce, motorhead,disturbed,limp bizkit, and korn don't scream while they sing there are other types of metal out there like trash metal, nu metal, hardcore, metalcore, or speed metal. and usually when a band sings about satanism and hell its usually a genere in northern europe called "black metal", and incase you don't know METAL ISN'T EMO!!!
