Niggling aside, I hope to garner a few members (many, if possible), and establish a fun debating group.

Should the expected vitriol turn into blatant offense, I will not hesitate to remove you: as Wilde said, "A little sincerity is a dangerous thing, and a great deal of it is absolutely fatal." This is true of debating, so please, people, compose yourselves and be as polite as possible.

TIME WASTER: Another tool on the Internet, sorry to inform you but people have better things to do then join your "sufficient group of debaters". If you honstely have to search on YouTube for "intelligent" debates/debaters you must have a sad and yet pathetic life.
May you find some excitement soon or i believe all hope is lost for you.

MY RESPONSE: What a sad and pathetic message. Do you post comments on musicians' pages, telling them that nobody wants to have a "jamsession" with them, or listen to their unprofessional songs? I'm assuming you don't - so why is this any different? I and many other people enjoy debates; and Youtube is an obvious place to host them, so why is it such a fatuous thing to you?
It is very arrogant of you to tell people that their hobbies are "sad".

TIME WASTER:I read up to the second sentence and found that you have already failed. I sent you a message and your accusing me of going to other "Musicians'" pages??? I feel bad for you that you feel the need to post more than 1 paragraph to get your point accross.

MY RESPONSE: No. I simply asked if you go to musicians' pages - then said, "I'm assuming you don't". Can you read? And the fact alone that you only read up to the second sentence suggests that you're an idiot, seeing as you feel that that is a rounded basis with which to argue. If you are right, then answer this:
- Why is my hobby anymore pathetic than somebody who goes on YouTube to post music videos and have jam sessions with others? Or somebody who posts reviews of games etc and wants feedback? You're a classic, belligerent idiot who has tried to start an argument but failed to say why they are arguing.

TIME WASTER: The fact that you have to write more than a paragraph shows that your point is either useless or just stupid. I refuse to read some idiot's 10 sentence long explaination of how im a "billigerent idiot".My point still stands, your a pathetic person to be wanting to start "intelligent" debates on YouTube. You're just trying to hide that fact by making insults.

MY RESPONSE: That makes no sense. Since when did writing more or less determine the validity of something? How old are you? And no, your point does not stand, because you have not said why my wanting to debate is pathetic. You have just made assertions by calling it "sad". Debating is a hobby, and YouTube is a prime place for debates, given the nature of it...so how is it pathetic? It's just as valid as wanting to start news topics or have jam sessions online. Stop being inexplicably livid over nothing.


Hopefully this answers the question of 'why I want to start a debating group - and why I do not think it's a pathetic prospect.' It also demonstrates a level of pointless contention that I and most others do not wish to see here.
