About this user

I am an English student with a passion for Folk Music and sewing, I hope to become a costumier. I play mandolin, mandola, guitar, recorder, bodhran and I'm teaching myself fiddle. I also sing, mostly all traditional English, but some from Ireland, Scotland and Wales. (Most of the time it is hard to distinguish between them)

I come from a musical family, my dad plays fiddle as his main instrument but also guitar and mandolin. (We share most instruments) My mum sings and my Dad and her do a lot of song in public together, especially American Bluegrass at the moment. Which can either make me proud or exceedingly embarrassed.

I hope starting in the summer to collect a record of all the songs we sing as a family and post them on You Tube. So that others can here them outside of Northamptonshire.
