An old burying ground in Connecticut can be a delightful place to ponder the mysteries and heritage of New England families. Secluded, quiet, unassuming, and frozen in time, the continued existence of these hallowed graveyards provides testimony to the unsinkable resolve of generations before us not to be forgotten. It is in this spirit that The Historic Mead Family Burying Grounds Association, Inc., was formed. The Historic Mead Family Burying Grounds Association, Inc., was founded in 1990 to preserve, protect and maintain three small Mead family burying grounds in the Town of Greenwich, Connecticut. The association also records and publishes historical records of these and other burial sites of family ancestors.
