About Me:

I'm a US Army Infantryman currently posted in WA state...having returned from Afghanistan (1st tour) in July 2010...added to my 3 tours in Iraq with the 101st Abn Div. I now train National Guard soldiers as they prepare for their own deployments. I love going to concerts (recently drove Seattle to Salt Lake City to see Dream Theater), hiking and camping in the Cascade Mountains, attending Nascar races and NHL games (Go Hurricanes!). I most recently saw Rush for the 13th time....Queensryche is my next fave, having met them a few times and even have a speaking part on their "Mindcrime At The Moore" DVD....I recently discovered the band Kamelot, and am really pumped about the musical talent and songwriting ability of this band as well as their live performances....I'm mostly into Prog Rock, Classic Rock, and some Metal, and my eclectic side even likes Old Motown...music on the radio nowadays sucks horribly IMO, as most listeners are terribly shallow minded (again IMO).

I mostly like to read historical non-fiction books as well as novels along the lines of Tom Clancy ones. Any with a good story about terrorists getting the shit kicked out of 'em is okay for me!
