MDI originally started as a merge between two well known YouTubers, TheCite and timsdadisthebestvid. These two users made videos together and featured them on either one of their YouTube channels (please follow links in Friends List to watch). This primitive way of expressing their interests developed into a joint partnership, and in late October 2007 Mark Declan Incorporated was formed.
