I have been making beats/music since I discovered MAGIX music maker about 5 years ago. It was a great program to work with (especially for beginners), but I felt limited with it after a while. Still a great program to sample with in my opinion though.
After working with MAGIX Music Maker for approximately 1 year, I switched to Reason. It's by far my favorite program. I just love the program for many reasons: endless possibilities to connect devices, great effects, very stable and reliable, good mixing and mastering capabilities and many more.
About 6-8 months ago I started using FL Studio. I needed some better sounds to work with, but Reason only works with ReFills and doesn't support VST's. The reason I chose FL Studio was because I heard it was very easy to use and has great potential to create hiphop beats and it was very easy indeed. I have figured out a lot about FL in such a short time, which I never could've achieved if I chose for Cubase.
So nowadays, I usually ReWire Reason into FL as a slave and use both programs at the same time to get the best out of both DAWs (Digital Audio Workstation).
I just can't imagine a world without music. I love listening to music and not just only HipHop, but also many other genres like R&B, Reggaeton, Pop, Score, Rock etc. That's also the main reason you'll be hearing many different genres from me.
Eventually, all the beats are meant to be listened by you.
