@gilbertrivas17 Japs at that time were so brutal that they even bayoneted babies, rape women and likes to slash soldiers head with their sword. They were trained like a fighting dogs ready to kill. This makes marine to fight equally with the same brutallity. But for Marines when a jap surrenders...

Even Dwight was also willing to be in the movie, unfortunately he's too old at that time and no make-up can fix. "Saving Private Ryan" shows how brutal it was to be infront lines ...
