Monroe County United Ministries has been serving its community since 1939. Today we provide two main programs. The Emergency Services Program provides basic needs assistance to households in financial crisis. Help may come in the form of food, rent/mortgage/utility assistance, clothing, household items, cleaning supplies, hygiene items and bus tickets. The Childcare Program provides full-time care for children 2-6 and summer care for children 6-12. Fees are assessed on a sliding fee. This program is licensed by the State of Indiana and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
