Now before you go ahead and say "OMG U FUKIN BIO TARD NOSTALGIA FAG!" I would like to clear some things up. I don't dislike HF because its not called BIONICLE, I dislike it for valid reasons. The designs are mediocre and I get no joy out of building them. Even 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, whateverthefuckelse.0 have mediocre designs. They're just too simple, too easy for my taste. Sure some of them look stylish I guess, but that's not the point. All you get out of them now is something pretty to put on your shelf. If Bionicle kept going the way it was going I would have given it up aswell, you could see the quality of sets slowly declining ESPECIALLY with the Glatorian era (09, 10). Now we have HF.... So the whole nostalgic/bio tard thing wont work on me.
First off the original sets (or 1.0) were just more stylish Stars (2010 Bionicle) sets basically, or at least the main 6, no flexibility and only like 15... pathetic. Villains were decent especially the Titan sets like Von Nebula for example. And as for the newer ones sets they're still dumbed down for kids. The designs still suck, click click done! The designs are just bland and seem boring to me. The only thing decent to come out of HF are the titans like Witch Doctor, Von Nebula etc, and are the only ones I will buy like I have been, and even then not many. Everything else...myeh. Why should I biy these Hero Failtory sets when I could be buying other and better Lego sets?
I don't really care about the story as it has nothing to do with the sets, but boy is it cheesy, even more so then Bionicles. For mocs? If you want to moc with shitty pieces be my guest, but that just seems like a closet HF fanboy excuse to me "OH I ONLY WANT THEM SO I CAN MOC, HF SUCKS!"
The funny thing is the same people who are whoring themselves out to Lego, and buying release after release, are the same people who used to bash and hate on it. Saying things in 2010 like "Oh I'm only going to buy some sets, I'm not going to get into it" Now in 2012 "HERE'S MY LATEST REVIEW ON HF! AW FUCK YEAH *kisses bag*". The same people who were going boycott it saying things like "WE WILL GET BIONICLE BACK 2012! BOYCOTT LEGO" Well as you can see, Bionicle isn't coming back and even if it did, it would still have these shitty designs.
