why dont u play Sc anymore???

hey im trying to do the starcraft windowed download. everytime I try to put the new files into my starcraft files the game starts up automatically. I then have to exit out of the game. I tried to put them in without the disk in my drive, and then it just tells me to put the disk in or try again. whats the Problem???
