Mogadishu was almost 20 years ago, not 10. However, I think what he meant was that our soldiers should be the ones being honored for the sacrifices they make everyday, the ones being remembered when they pass. They are typically all but ignored by the media. It's a sad age we're livi...

Don't get me wrong, I think that Western-inspired weapons are usually better, in a number of ways. Anybody that is "in the know" would largely agree with that. That said, the Russians don't do too badly for themselves either. Certainly better than most people give them credit for.

That is a pretty bold and crazy claim. I could probably think of ten better films off the top of my head.

Having said that, "Pulp Fiction" is definitely pretty amazing on different levels...but far from "the best movie of all time."

His view isn't obscured at all. The shield over the lens prevents scope reflection, so that the sniper won't be spotted from the sun reflecting off it.

It's official: one of my greatest pet peeves is now people that ruin great scenes with horrible music..and always for no reason whatsoever. Why, Ricitnt? Why?

You know, in many ways I really want to dislike Quentin Tarantino films..they're unnecessarily bloody, and they all have at least one scene that goes a little too far, in one way or another.

That said, the guy is just a master at what he does: his movies are amazingly well-shot, the characters ...

Who cares if they did? It's just a game, and the point is to have fun. Sure seems like he did.

I also wonder if it's particularly wise to call somebody that pulled off what he did with that F35 a "noob." He looks pretty experienced to me.

And back then, buddy. 40 and 25 is a lot better than 50 and 20..and the latter age difference wasn't terribly uncommon.

For whatever reason, the half-ton truck being blown to pieces at 5:37 is one of my all time favorite caught on film explosions. It's amazing...forgot this computer-animated crap. Sometimes it just looks better with a truck, a bunch of charges, and some dummies being shot into the air.

It's may have been awhile since they've had a full-fledged war, but they certainly haven't slacked in the killing department..after all, you have to get up pretty early in the morning to kill 45 million of your own people in less than 25 years.

Wow. And this marks about the 3rd time since WWI that a member of the French military actually FIRED a weapon, instead of just throwing his arms down and surrendering:)
