Most tire makers now use teflon coated molds so there is not any release coating used. This from a Dunlop rep at a track last year. Been that way for years he said. I'll ask about any preserving coating next time I see him.

If its a beginner session you should be expecting at least some early roll offs. Especially after a CR passes you to show you the line and you push it beyond your comfort zone. That seems to always cause earlier braking or roll off........ at least from what I've seen on the street. Still waiting...
