There are no ME/CFS epidemics as there is no such thing as ME/CFS, it is just another made up term that can be used to mean different things (along with CFS/ME, creating more mixed meanings and confusion). These are ME epidemics. CFS is a broad fatigue syndrome and not the same as ME.

The Canadian criteria is an ME/CFS definition. Those with ME generally prefer an ME diagnosis. Keeping CFS continues to undermine us and drag along all of the problems associated with it. The CDC website is for CFS so it's "accurate" for CFS. CFS is not ME.
