yeah - the energy drills are all good - maybe look at the pressure and force - and try to go for different techniques and attacks - and mix it up -
pretty good to understand the centerline - pressure - force - moving off the line - moving back on the line - attacking - defending -

yeah - so in a self-defense situation - if you can go for the grab and the roundhouse kick - yeah -
maybe think of the roundhouse by itself - a roundhouse can be very strong and powerful - but then with the added grab to control the force -
