This is, of course, the list approved and recognized by the NCAA. Even with the 2004 title returned and the title in 2005 that only AP gave to USC, Notre Dame still has a better record.

You guys take this too seriously. This should be one of the most fun (read: not hateful or mean, but fun) rivalries in college football. What with the debates over who the Pope, Mary, or Jesus would root for, the Holy Cross versus Jesuit competition, and Notre Dame's curse of losing to BC just ...
