Welcome to my Youtube site - I'm presenting a variety of video clips featuring various aspects of Koryu Uchinadi, some vintage footage of a film clips I've collected over the years, and a few demonstrations and personal stuff.
Hope you enjoy yourself and make the time to visit my official website located here www.koryu-uchinadi.com
Name: Patrick McCarthy
Originally from Canada but migrated to Japan where I married and spent many years before being recruited to teach [martial arts] in Australia. Been involved in the martial arts all my life and decided early on, "why not live my dream," and was able to successfully turn my passion into a profession --- never regretted that decision.
I'm very competitive by nature---a trait reflected in pretty much everything I do. I'm also a work-a-holic and love what I do --- who wouldn't? I'm also a person with little time for losers or negative people ... who does?
I've worked very hard to accomplish what I have and respect anyone who holds the same values.
I'm married to a remarkable woman named Yuriko, and we have two great kids; Bianca [19--- http://myspace.com/sunnyjune] & Taylor [17 --- http://www.myspace.com/taylor_ mccarthy].
I am living my dream...and loving it ;-)
