BIO

Skeptik is a unique Brisbane-based hip hop artist who has been described as a world changer and the voice of those who have no voice. Through his powerful prose, Skeptik differentiates himself from other hip hop musicians by grasping the complexities of existence, presence and purpose and effortlessly translates them into easily-understandable concepts that all can relate to. As soon as you hear Skeptiks music, you cannot help but be transported to a place of passionate emotion and honesty that can sometimes be confronting and uncomfortable because of its raw truth.

With the release of his first EP entitled 'The Edge Of Darkness', he evokes consciousness and connection in the listener as he tackles big topics such as humanity's disconnection from the universe due to the bombardment of media, politics, ideology and countless other destructive devices.

Influenced by artists as diverse as Immortal Technique to Neil Young; Skeptik's passion for hip hop started from an early age and blossomed after years of DJing and finally MCing. Performing live at every opportunity and taking part in as many collaborations as possible at one time, Skeptik has gained respect and admiration over the years in the hip hop community.
