did you ever buy any harbor freight engines? They look pretty nice and for $140.00, you can get a 212cc engine 4 stroke. I think I'm gonna put one on my next bike project. I'm building a 4 wheel stainless steel , full suspension bike, similar to the one on the contess engineering web site.

I recently purchased a 12 x 37 lathe from harbor freight . I wouldn't consider myself a master machinest, but I've seen enough done to know what tooling I need for the different kinds of work that you can do on a lathe. I just never saw that before.

The way this bike is set up , it does affect the steering . If I do this again, I plan on mounting the engine directly in front of the handle bars, and standing the rear drive section of the front wheel upright. This will eliminate most of the awkwardness of the weight being so far forward.
