alright well I got the tank issures taken care of. I now have 4 tanks! 1 46 gallon and 3 ten gallons. I have only 2 ten gallons running right now. Dont have the money to start another one. I have play sand in the ten gallon/s now. Will some DEcor. I had to seperate the 3 cichlid fry because they are all mean as heck. So then are living seperately. I put 2 of the fry in the 46 gallon. My albino red topped zebra in my 46 gallon died.... sad day. Anywho everything is wonderful. I had bought a bumblebee cichlid which was as big as my hybris but a little bulkier and the hybrid picked on it first but then it started eating away at my hybrid so i took him back to the store. Anywho. updates to come. You have been MIA

I dont kno where you have been man but i pixked up 2 more 10 gallon aquariums and a double stand for 20 bucks so something is in the making. PS I picked up an Emperor 280 for my 46 gallon and have that the FLuval 204 and the Whisper 30 going and my water is still cloudy. For some reason my Ammonia is at .50 Ppm. so its a mess right now.

Hey man hows it going. Just stopping to let you know I think my Fluval 204 is going in the 46 gallon. The water is starting to get cloudy and I dont think it is pumping as fast as it used to. Plus its like 2 years old so I think. So I may have to pick up another filer. Maybe another canister? Any suggestions? I may just use all three filters. My water would be crystal clear. Btw I changed my tank setup again. The left side is the same but the right side has a big sea shell the a fish dug under. Also I brought 2 fish down from my growout tank. The Livingstoni doesnt fear anyone and the unknown possible Kenyi mixed with something else is a little shallow. Well i just wrote you a book so here Ill conclude my comment haha. Later

As long as you have rinsed the sand real well, you shouldn't have to much problem adding the sand to the tank. I suggest scooping it up with a cup, then lowering the cup to the bottom before pouring it out, this will lessen the ammount that gets stired up in the process. Make sure to turn off the filter while doing this though. If you have any questions, just e-mail me through here or answers.

hey i like your tank i found your youtube off yahoo answers and you gave me a really good answer so i was wondering how would you suggest,
well i was eager to fill my tank at the start so i didn't put a thick enough substrate of sand at the bottom and its begging to show and i was wondering what is the best way to add more sand substrate to the aqrium? |
