Pacificnetwork.tv, an Internet network of nine master channels and lots of other channels featuring news, entertainment, original programming, vintage television from Hawaii's first television station (KGMB9), Sports, Travel, Science & Environment, Heath and Educational programming -- all provided free to the public.
Is this a TV network or a website?

PacificNetwork.tv is both.

Actually, we're even more. We use high- definition cameras to produce most of what you see. We provide news and shows that you can watch on your computer screen or attach to your home flat screen TV, and very shortly you can view our network on your cell phone. We also offer print articles, radio programs and movies. Some of our shows are nteractive. You affect the outcome of the show — and you create your own TV.
What do you mean, I create my own TV?

You can watch any program when you feel like watching and at your own pace. We archive shows to make them available to you for weeks after they've premiered. If you want more or you'd like to own copies of our programs just go to the Store. Or visit Connections to meet the writers, producers, musicians and actors or comment on what you see.
What kinds of programs am I going to watch?

We're interested in all things Hawaii and Hawaiian. Our focus is Native Hawaiian content and stories about the Pacific region, other indigenous cultures, business, preservation and conservation of the environment, endangered species, global sustainability.
How do I make the comment?

Every channel provides a "Connections" link. Connections is the social networking channel. You can contact our news desk or someone you saw in a program. Viewers can submit comments, upload videos and photos, and communicate with other viewers. Audience involvement and interaction are integral to the PacificNetwork.tv format. This is your network.

We are a group of professionals most of whom reside in Hawaii. Our field reporters are in Tokyo, Borneo, Hong Kong, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington and Washington D.C., and Boston. Friends with cameras and a good story contribute from anywhere and everywhere.

We broadcast weekly rotations of news stories. Programming on each channel is archived for viewers, along with links to sources, additional videos and written articles.
