This does sound good, however, he is speeding in the solos. You can hear that after a few measures he is no longer with the rest of the orchestra. They end up playing catchup. No, this is not because of the mic as you can see that the bows do not match.

The actual trick is much simpler than this explanation describes. Also, it is not as hard to set up.. tape is not used. Perhaps people should actually LEARN THE TRICK, as in reading the instructions.
