Se siete abituati a posteggiare l'auto in doppia fila, sui marciapiedi o sulle piste ciclabile, attenti a non farlo se siete in vacanza a Vilnius, la capitale della Lituania. Per far fronte al parcheggio selvaggio, infatti, il neo-eletto sindaco Arturas Zuokas ha deciso di ricorrere alle maniere forti.
Ecco quindi il 43enne esponente del partito liberale a bordo di un mezzo militare - un BTR-80 veicolo di fabbricazione sovietica per il trasporto delle truppe e in dotazione alle forze armate lituane - mentre letteralmente schiaccia un'auto parcheggiata male. Otto ruote motrici per 7.65 metri di lunghezza e 13.600 chili di peso, che passano sopra a una vecchia Mercedes Classe S in divieto di sosta.
Il video, pubblicato poi su YouTube, mostra inoltre il sindaco-giustiziere che gira in bici per le strade di Vilnius fotografando le auto parcheggiate male. Un chiaro gesto propagandistico (ci auguriamo che sia stata soltanto una l'auto sacrificata), nato dalle centinaia di lamentele da parte dei ciclisti che arrivavano in Comune. Ma di sicuro effetto. "Questo è un messaggio -- ha detto il sindaco "liberale" -- per chi ha tanti soldi e un'auto costosa. Non si può parcheggiare infischiandosene del codice della strada". Chissà che qualcuno non raccolga la provocazione anche in Italia.
