Born and raised in Spanish Town, Jamaica, Maureen began singing at an early age when she fully committed her life to Christ at the age of 12.
Maureen was active in the local church, Deliverance Center, Church of God, which has since changed to Search of Life, Church of God. She then became the lead singer of the local gospel group, the Celestial Singers, where she performed in local concerts in and around Jamaica.
In 1992, Maureen migrated to the United States and once again began singing. In 1997, Maureen recommitted her life to Christ, joined Tabernacle of Praise, and in 2005, she self-released her first solo album entitled Through It All.
Maureen has performed at several events in the United States, including New Testament Church of God in Chicago, IL; First Church of God in Evanston, WY; and the Bethel United Ministry, Inc. in Evanston. She has also performed at the services of the Dome Ministries in The Bronx of New York; the Search of Life, Church of God; the Non-Denominational Church in Brooklyn, New York.
Maureen has graced the stage with well-known international singers Carlene Davis, Shirley Willis, and George Banton. Maureen's second CD entitled The Answer is Jesus was released in early 2007. Maureen is a sold out woman of God, dedicated and committed to the Lord. To complete that which she had started in her youth, she is committed to boldly proclaiming the gospel through music wherever she goes. She is determined, under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, to use her music to save, heal, and deliver people in the name of Jesus. Maureen lives in Chicago with her two sons, Andre and Matthew.
