Matt Ritter is one of todays hottest up and coming comedians. His clever and energetic brand of comedy has entertained audiences large and small across the country. He has performed at top venues including the 2000 person NOKIA Theatre in Times Square, and appears regularly at NYCs hotspots such as Gotham Comedy Club, Comix and the Laugh Lounge and has performed with Chris Rock, Darrell Hammond, Jim Gaffigan, Christian Finnegan and many others. When hes not entertaining crowds locally, he can be found performing as a headliner for colleges and corporate functions, as well as for Jewish organizations.

In addition to working shows and events, he has recently added his sharp humor as a guest commentator on CBS News and MTV.com. He has recently earned the title of one of NYs Funniest Residents by Resident Magazine, and has participated in the NY Underground Comedy Festival and Skit Skat Live Sketch competition. He also hosts and produces the critically acclaimed Denial Sundays show which is featured in Time-Out NY. He is also a writer for various online publications, including Bitter Lawyer (an insightful and engaging entertainment site for lawyers) and The Toilet Paper (a daily newsletter providing an intelligent and funny take on current events). Prior to becoming a standup comedian, Matt spent his days as a corporate lawyer at a Kirkland & Ellis.
